I really capturing laid back moments, so much that I included a gallery for it when I rebuilt my site. By the way, I didn’t rode the swan shoped boat, but maybe I should. Chandigarh, Punjab, India š®š³, July 2017 #india
Things are OK when you hit the road again. One of the many stops along the Spiti Valley, donāt really remember why, either a cool photo opportunity or some kind of roadblock. There were so many of both.

Travel is not just exploring and visiting places, it also as its slow days, and I do love those in between the fast paced ones. Do everyday things, like a haircut, and let your mind drift away on its own. Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India š®š³, July 2017 #himachalpradesh #india
At Kinnaur the closer you get from Spiti valley the more present Buddhism becomes. The flags in the wind, the prayer wheels, slowly and without really noticing it become larger and more frequent. In this small temple in Kalpa this was the first really big prayer wheel, that would be very common in Spiti and Ladakh.Himachal Pradesh, India, 2017.ā£#kalpa #kinnaur #himachalpradesh #india #t3mujinpack #jalmeidaportfoliohttps://photos.joaoalmeidaphotography.com/index/G0000QjsavBbzXPM/I0000JcFW_yOHw7Y
Kalpa sits in the middle of a slope of Kinnaur, as if itās hanging in the air, facing the massive walls of the Kinnaur Kailash mountain range that overwhelm the small village with its height, despite that the main square is almost at 3000m.Himachal Pradesh, India, 2017.⣠#kalpa #kinnaur #himachalpradesh #india #t3mujinpack #jalmeidaportfolio⣠photos.joaoalmeidaphotography.com/index/G00…
The same temple from previous photo, minus the elderly lady. The same beautiful wooden gate, framing the mountains on the back.ā£ā£ā£Himachal Pradesh, India, 2017.ā£#kalpa #kinnaur #himachalpradesh #indiahttps://photos.joaoalmeidaphotography.com/index/G0000QjsavBbzXPM/I0000jOVzqBLsPRY
One of the subtle things I love in India, and that might go unnoticed for some, itās the tiny shops. In Kinnaur the streets arenāt as crowded as in places like Varanasi, where someone can prepare masala chai in a tight space on a wall, but spots like this one still appear in your way.Himachal Pradesh, India, 2017.#kalpa #kinnaur #himachalpradesh #india photos.joaoalmeidaphotography.com/index/G00…
A small villageās square can be used for everything, from picking the bad grains to playing volleyball. Himachal Pradesh, India, 2017.#kalpa #kinnaur #himachalpradesh #india
